Parent Partnership

Working with you to create harmony and balance for your children.

We feel it is important for the relationship between home and nursery to be as strong as possible to ensure the best support for your child.

We invite you to share with us any changes or patterns that are taking place in the home. For example

  • What is their current routine and any changes you see.

  • What is their medical history? Are there any concerns we should be aware of?

  • Did you do something fun over the weekend? We love to know what activities are taking place outside of nursery so we can invite your child to share about it and build confidence in sharing his or her experience.

  • Are they sleeping through the night? Has there been anything that’s frightened them?

  • Have there been any experiences they are struggling with?

The more you share with us the more we can support them on a daily basis. We will also close the loop of feedback so you are fully aware of what’s happening with your child at nursery.

Get updates about your child every day on the FAMLY app

FAMLY is our online learning journey system. Parents are able to log in and see what their child has been doing during the week. The system also gives parents access to a variety of information pertaining to child development, nursery curriculum, our events calendar and much, much more. All our nursery policies, procedures and menus are available to view on FAMLY.

You can also get updates in person when you pick up your child or you can give us a call anytime.

  • "The staff are sensational. They have become like extended family to us.

We have the opportunity to participate in school events. Cultural evenings, bring your grandparents to school day, sports day where parents and children can participate together, concerts and recitals, baking days – the list is endless. This allows us to forge relationships with other parents going through similar times.

Children even have a full graduation ceremony where they get to wear the gown and pose for pictures (which is very emotional). It’s so well considered, and they even feed the parents with wholesome food prepared by the in-house chef!

  • "I cannot thank the team at Wetherby House enough for the foundation they have given my two boys. I have seen them both flourish, excel in ways I did not think was possible and become independent young men.

The staff are exceptional. Their caring nature, attention to detail and their willingness to involve themselves and the family in every part of a child’s development is to applaud.”
